EYEBROWS
First Day –
Gently blot the area with a
clean cotton pad. There are a few
included in your aftercare pack for convenience. Do this hourly, or as needed until all lymph
has stopped leaking from the wound. Doing
this will stop the lymph drying and becoming crusty and hard, producing scabs. Reducing
the formation of scabs will make the healing process much more tolerable.
1st week-
Brows will appear darker and
thicker than you’re used to during the early stages of the healing process.
It is important to keep your brows
as dry as possible during this stage.
Gently wash your brows with
your fingers only and a small amount of mild cleanser.
Do not soak your brows! Pat
dry gently with clean cotton pads or allow to air dry then apply the aftercare cream
provided gently in a dabbing motion.
Do not pick, itch, or wipe
your brows during the first 2 weeks of healing.
2nd week-
If scabbing is still present,
even if it is lifting, do not pick, rub, or scratch.
Your brows may be quite itchy
during this stage… this is normal and a good sign of healing.
Once scabs are finished your
brows may appear light or completely gone in some cases. This is normal and is a result of the new
skin that has grown overtop taking on a ‘milky’ appearance, the colour will
come back as the skin matures and settles.
Be patient and trust the
process.
It takes a full 6 weeks for your
brows to heal completely.
Schedule your 2nd
appointment 6-9 weeks after initial session.
Generally, Cristen will check in with you on the progress of the healing
process around 3-4 weeks in and arrange your touch up session.
Touch ups can only be booked 6
weeks after the initial session.
You can expect your brows to last anywhere between 6 months to 3 years without
touch ups depending on your skin type and daily activities.
Your brows will go through the same aftercare process with each touch up
session.
Do not wet your brows aside
from gentle washing. No soaking, sauna,
skincare products, oils, or long showers.
Avoid sweating.
The salt in your sweat can affect
the brow pigment. It is recommended to stick
to low impact workouts for 7 days after PMU.
Do not sleep on your face during
the healing process.
Avoid sun exposure!!... always
…. Forever!
Sun exposure prematurely ages the skin and damages PMU.

protect your investment with correct aftercare
lip blush
Blot your lips every hour for
the first 8 hours to ensure all lymph has finished leaking from the lips. This will ensure less scabbing and a much
more tolerable healing process.
Use a small amount of
aftercare balm every hour for 10 days post lip blush tattoo.
Do not pick, scratch, pull at
the scabs or attempt to exfoliate in any way as this can cause pigment to drop out
resulting in uneven colour.
If your lips feel dry during
the healing process apply a small amount of aftercare balm.
A small cosmetic jar is included
in your aftercare pack to make it convenient to carry your aftercare balm with
you while you go about your day.
Avoid excessive sweating,
pools, saunas, long showers, and baths.
Avoid sun exposure.
Do not use makeup on the area
for 10 days post treatment.
Do not receive lip filler or other
injectables for 4 weeks post treatment.
Avoid hot or spicy food for 72
hours after receiving your lip tattoo as the skin is damages and therefor can
lead to serious burns.
During the healing process it
is not unusual for your lips to appear swollen, dry, patchy, or uneven in
appearance.
Your lips will be completely
healed 4-6 weeks after treatment.
Touch ups can be booked after
the full 6 weeks have passed.
